 as part of this years design miami event in december, the swarovski crystal palace will present an installation featuring the work of ross lovegrove. the installation liquid space features a table and chandelier design by lovegrove. the chandeliers design appears to have melted through the ceiling and is shaped in a vortex. it uses swarovski crystals which will then reflect light onto the polished aluminium tables below. the bioform quarter tables are milled from solid aluminium and polished to a mirror finish. the tables are divided into quarters and need the support of each other to stand up, they can also leaned up in a corner. design miami will run from december 3 6, 2008. http://www.swarovski.com http://www.rosslovegrove.com more  ross lovegrove - organic essentialism   Posted originally: 10/30/2008
